East West North South

There were times
When the times of the times
Were the times of the times

The times were tender, sweet, wholesome
There were no worries
Everyone smiled, smiled from the heart
Where have those times gone?
Times have changed.....

There were rhymes
When the rhymes of the rhymes
Were the rhymes of the rhymes

The rhymes made complete sense
The whole world understood
Poetry in motion it was
Where have those rhymes gone?
Rhymes have changed.....

There were climes
When the climes of the climes
Were the climes of the climes

The climes were endlessly beautiful
The days were soft, the nights softer
Everyone wished to be under the clear sky
Where have those climes gone?
Climes have changed.....

There were crimes
When the crimes of the crimes
Were the crimes of the crimes

The crimes were, being unkind
Not saying hello, being rude
At the most, littering
Where have those crimes gone?
Crimes have changed.....

There were mimes
When the mimes of the mimes
Were the mimes of the mimes

The stage would be set
The story told, as never before
All would laugh, enjoy the wonder
Where have those mimes gone?
Mimes have changed.....

There were primes
When the primes of the primes
Were the primes of the primes

All wanted to be number one
Always striving to be the first
There was something within
Where have those primes gone?
Primes have changed.....

There were chimes
When the chimes of the chimes
Were the chimes of the chimes

There was something in the air
A soothing sound to fall asleep
Music played all night long
Where have those chimes gone?
Chimes have changed.....

Here is hoping
The times of the times
The rhymes of the rhymes
The climes of the climes
The crimes of the crimes
The mimes of the mimes
The primes of the primes
The chimes of the chimes
Come our way once more
